The UIC Center for Research on Health and Aging (CRHA) located within the Institute for Health Research and Policy has been the home of the Midwest Roybal Center for Health Promotion and Translation, funded by NIH for 5 consecutive cycles (https://midwestroybalcenter.uic.edu). This year CRHA is working on renewal of the Roybal Center and has also applied for infrastructure funding through NIH’s RCMAR program (Resource Centers for Minority Aging Research) and will soon be gearing up for an application to NIH’s new program on Research Infrastructure Development for Interdisciplinary Aging Studies (R61/R33).
