Chicago Reader highlights performance series created by Bodies of Work, Art Institute of Chicago and Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago

The Chicago Reader featured a series of live gallery activations through the lenses of crip culture, access and belonging by Chicago dance artists in collaboration with Bodies of Work: A Network of Disability Art and Culture,  co-directed by Carrie Sandahl and Sandie Yi ’22 PhD DIS, the Art Institute of Chicgao, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. We are proud of our DHD graduate students (Sydney Erlikh and Maggie Bridger) who conceptualized, organized and performed at the event as well as former 3Arts/BOW fellow (Kris Lenzo). Sandy Guttman, an MS in DHD alumna and Bodies of Work assistant, was a primary organizer in her new role at the MCA as Performance and Programs Project Manager.
