Kristen Kepnick accepts new role as associate director of development with UIC advancement

We share bittersweet news as we announce Kristen Kepnick’s new role as an associate director of development with the UIC Office of the Vice Chancellor for Advancement, effective June 15. Fortunately, Kristen will continue to work with AHS while also supporting the UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work.

In her new role, Kristen will be managing her own major gifts portfolio, bringing philanthropic support to AHS and JACSW. She will report to Torine Pasek as they focus on matching individuals’ philanthropic priorities with the needs of both colleges.

Kristen served as the associate director for engagement and participation at AHS for five years—connecting with alumni, faculty, students and generous donors. For the past 14 months, Kristen served as the sole advancement officer for AHS, providing excellent service and care for the college. We know the great care she has shown our alumni and her relationships with faculty will be an asset.

In addition to her service to AHS, Kristen brings 11 years of experience in advancement work and over two decades in higher education.

We wish Kristen all the best in her new role and are grateful she won’t be a stranger to AHS!
