13th annual UIC minority health conference

We are so excited to host Dr. Amanda Roy, Community and Prevention Research Program Chair and Assistant Professor with UIC Psychology, Chloe Gurin-Sands, Manager of Health Equity and Planning with the Metropolitan Planning Council, Dr. Jaleel Abdul-Adil, Co-Director of the Urban Youth Trauma Center and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry with UIC COM, and Veronica Halloway, Chief of the Center for Minority Health Services with IDPH, for what is sure to be a very engaging discussion! In addition, we will feature keynote speaker Rani Morrison, Chief Diversity and Community Health Equity Officer for UI Health.
We hope you will join us on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 9am-12pm CST for our 13th annual UIC Minority Health Conference, hosted by the School of Public Health! This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Rani Morrison, MS, MSW, LCSW, FACHE, a Q&A panel of highly-regarded healthcare professionals, and a collection of abstract presentations from students, faculty and community members! All of this content will follow the theme of Revolutionary Healing and Rebuilding with a focus on Collective Trauma: The Impact of Changing Community Structures on Health Equity.
