Fall 2021 Commencement

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE AHS CLASS OF 2021!!!!

We are please to announced that the campus will be hosting in-person commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 11 in the Credit Union 1 Arena for Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 graduates.

Ceremony Details:

Saturday, December 11

College of Applied Health Sciences, College of Nursing and School of Public Health Ceremony

Graduates will be required to register to participate in the commencement ceremonies.  The deadline to register will be November 15.  Details regarding registration, ticket distribution, Latin Honors, photography, etc. are still being finalized.  Visit the Commencement website for updates.

CAPS AND GOWNS

Caps and gowns are now available through the Josten’s website.  Orders will be shipped directly to your home.  The deadline to order is October 31.

Caps and gowns will be available for purchase in the UIC Bookstore beginning November 8 for those who did not purchase regalia from Josten’s.

STUDENT ARE ENCOURAGED TO ORDER THROUGH JOSTEN’S.  IN STORE STOCK MAY BE LIMITED.

TICKETS

Tickets will be limited to 5 tickets.

DIPLOMA COVERS

Diploma covers will be available at the ceremonies or can be picked up from Student Center East.  To arrange for pick up, please email commencement@uic.edu.

LATIN HONOR CORDS

Latin honor cords will distributed at Student Center East and will be available at the ceremonies.  Information will be updated as it becomes available.

COVID RESTRICTIONS

In accordance with the City of Chicago DCD recommendations, we will have Covid-19 precautions in place.  All graduates and guests are required to wear masks.  Graduates may temporarily remove their mask for photos on stage.  All guests will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination or a negative Covid test no more than 72 hours prior to the ceremony.  Anyone who does not meet these requirements will not be allowed in to the Arena.  Visit the Commencement website for the most up to date information regarding the campus Commencement ceremonies and guidelines.
