Carli Friedman receives the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities 2022 Research Award

Carli Friedman ’13 MS DHD, ’16 PHD DIS is the recipient of the 2022 Research Award from the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This designation is awarded for “formulations and investigations that have contributed significantly to the body of scientific knowledge in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.”  Dr. Friedman is the Director of Research for the Council on Quality and Leadership and a UIC Department of Disability and Human Development adjunct faculty member.
