Manoela Lima Oliveira, Brittany Dipiazza and Kate Cares in front of the winning poster in the Emerging Leaders in Nutrition poster award competition.

Kate Cares, a kinesiology and nutrition doctoral candidate working with Lisa Tussing-Humphreys, won the Emerging Leaders in Nutrition Science Poster Competition at the 2023 American Society of Nutrition’s annual conference.  The work highlighted the association between chronic psychosocial stress and fecal bile acid profile that may be implicated in colorectal cancer risk.
