Friday, March 24, 2023

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Dasa Urbankova, UIC Flames NCAA D1, and Czech national golfer, and John Coumbe-Lilley, UIC Performance, Exercise, and Sports Psychology Program Director, present innovations in golf practice to develop quality practice routines to improve consistency and lower your scores.

Dasa plays on the UIC women’s golf team and competed on the Menlo women’s golf team as well. She has experience playing in professional events as well (Ladies European Tour Access Series) and has been part of the Czech and German extraligue team. At Menlo College, I was also in the position of the captain and assistant coach for the women’s golf for two years and worked as a program assistant and coach at the First Tee Silicon Valley. Dasa provides valuable insight and contributes to the athlete and team development due to experience in both golf management as a coach, but also the collegiate environment as an athlete.

John has provided sports and performance psychology services to a variety of programs and athletes, and he is a former national team head coach and national team rugby league player. He is currently preparing for the PR7 profesisonal rugby season with the expansion franchise The Team based in Austin, Texas and he works in clinical practice with Kelsey Ruffing Counseling.
