Transferring from another UIC program

We welcome transfer students from all UIC programs.

Information Sessions (currently online only)

Find out all you need to know about the intercollege transfer process by attending one of our online information sessions. We will review the degree requirements and answer general questions about the application process. Note: individual academic plans cannot be reviewed during the information session.

Spring 2021 Disability and Human Development Intercollege Transfer Information Sessions:

• Tuesday, February 16th at 3:00

• Wednesday, March 17th, at 10:00

• Thursday, April 15th at 1:00

Check your requirements

If you’re currently a freshman or sophomore at UIC, you can apply as an intercollege transfer.

  • At least one completed semester of coursework at UIC
  • Minimum UIC GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale), including transfer credit from other institutions
  • Good academic standing

We accept applications for fall and spring admission from weeks 1 through 15 of each semester. Applications for Fall 2021 admissions are due by Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:59 pm.
