Scholarship of Practice Collaboratives

Our Scholarship of Practice model asserts that education, scholarship and practice are equally valuable, interdependent and mutually enhancing.

We are recognized for addressing issues important to individuals, groups and communities, resulting in interventions that enhance health, well-being and participation. We’ve formed four Scholarship of Practice Collaboratives to help reflect the range of current scholarly efforts and impact in our department. Each collaborative is called an SOPC. Students explore SOPC options, submit their placement preferences and get matched to a scholarly collaborative and faculty advisor in the first year of their E-OTD program of study.
