About
Deborah Davey, PT, DPT, MBA-HC, FAAOMPT, EDPP received her BSc in Physiotherapy degree at West Middlesex School of Physiotherapy, (Brunel University), England and her doctorate at The College of St. Scholastica, MN. She came to the U.S in 1996 having over 25 years of interdisciplinary, leadership and clinical experience in hospital, outpatient, school, and specialty settings. Dr. Davey completed her MBA-HC at St Ambrose University (IA), her Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (UIC), and European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy (University of Leuven, Belgium).
Dr. Davey has held two terms as North Central Chair, was a member of the Health Promotion Committee and a District Delegate for North Central and a House Delegate for the IPTA.
She is actively seeing patients at the Physical Therapy Faculty Practice and teaching in the Post-professional Orthopaedic Residency Program, and within the Entry-level DPT Program. Her research interests include: Youth and adolescent orthopaedic/sports injury and prevention, musculoskeletal and gait dysfunctions, and health disparity outcomes in orthopedic conditions, and chronic pain management.
