  • Sport and exercise injury management
  • Biomechanics of human movement
  • Movement neuroscience and motor control

Why minor in kinesiology? Heading link

Health professionals that are well-versed in physical activity and lifestyle choices are in high demand. A minor in kinesiology gives you a broad understanding of how to help people find better health for a lifetime.

If you’re a nutrition major, this is the perfect fit. A registered dietitian with a minor in kinesiology is perfectly suited for a career in sports dietetics. Take on roles in universities, sports organizations, food corporations, cardiac rehabilitation, and get prepared for certification as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD).

Our kinesiology minor is designed for students who are interested in healthcare, but it’s open to students in any major. If you’re studying nursing, public health or biology, you’ll find the skills you learn particularly helpful in your future career.
