Dr. Cavalcante Silva joined Dr. Timothy Koh’s laboratory as a Postdoctoral Researcher in early 2020 to study the role of NK cells in wound healing and to extend the research into human studies. Her research has focused on interactions of NK cells with other wound cells during physiological and impaired healing with additional appointments at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and Rosalind Franklin Health Clinics.
